Headshots 23-26
Another 4, including two with glasses after yesterday’s train effort! The bottom 3 were drawn directly in ink, no pencil under sketch. Well, 2025 is drawing to a close, but I’m not feeling like stopping drawing just yet. We’ll keep going, and see what 2026 might bring.

Another day of only 3. Whoops. I kept going with the fude nib and grey water brush, but I watered down the grey a bit. It’s given me a little more delicacy with the shadows, I think. It’s tricky to hatch without accidentally giving people goaties, so that’s a thing I need to work on!

This is absolutely going to be a challenge. Doing 7 today took a lot, and I had nothing better to do! Using the proportions from Loomis is proving to be a good skeleton. I’m finding it easier to tweak as needed – give someone a longer chin, say, or pull the hair forward. We’ll see…

I’m calling these houses done now. Two identical bases that ended up quite different. You do get that on slightly older estates sometimes, but mostly I was just playing!

Well. It’s a face, but it’s not very like the photo. I really need to work on features. The eyes here feel wrong and noses are tricky!

I had an idea. This wasn’t quite it! Got my relative sizes wrong. I need to work on that. Still, not too bad I guess. Maybe I’ll have a go at the other idea tomorrow.
